At Faith Music Centre, music is more than learning an instrument. It is a way for Persons with Disabilities and seniors to build confidence, develop meaningful skills, and discover opportunities to contribute to society. Our social mission guides everything we do — from the first lesson to performances, employment, and giving back to the community.
We believe every person, regardless of disability, has the potential to become a musician. Through structured training, learners progress from discovering an instrument to building individual proficiency, playing confidently in a band, and performing on stage. Every step is designed to develop skills, confidence, and the opportunity to grow through music.

Music offers seniors more than a new hobby — it creates opportunities for purpose, friendship, and continued contribution. Through learning, performing, volunteering, and engaging micro-job opportunities in areas such as teaching, performance, and event support, seniors remain active while building meaningful connections within the community. Caregivers are welcomed on this journey too, and we continue exploring how music can support Persons Living With Dementia and those who care for them.
For many learners, music becomes more than a personal achievement — it opens the door to meaningful work. As skills and confidence grow, opportunities become available to perform at events, support stage operations, or even teach future learners as music instructors. By transforming music ability into employability, we create pathways towards greater independence and purpose.

Music is meant to be shared. Throughout the year, our musicians perform at eldercare homes, disability homes, and community events across Singapore, bringing encouragement and joy to others. This spirit of service is celebrated through our annual Singing Lotus Concert, where every performance reflects not only musical growth but also a commitment to giving back to the community.
Every year, the Singing Lotus Concert celebrates the achievements of our learners and the impact of music within our community. Discover the story behind our flagship concert and the milestones that have shaped its journey.
